The countdown is on – “SolarStratos” mission

The pilot and initiator of the project “SolarStratos” Raphaël Domjan wants to fly into the stratosphere with an ultralight aircraft, which was built by us in Hurlach. The record stand wants to clearly exceed the previous altitude record of 9235m. As planned Domjan 2018 starts its flight in the two-seat low-wing aircraft. The aircraft is designed to 25000m altitude, was made in carbon fiber composite construction and has no pressure cabin to save weight. In the future, it is planned that the pilot and the passenger in spacesuits sit one behind the other and fly into the stratosphere. In addition to several partners, we are proud to be the official supplier of this project.
